Teen mom Janelle Evans and her husband David Ethan criticized the "poor" state of their kitchen because fans noticed that their sink was full of dirty dishes.
The 29-year-old teenage mother 2 alum may have accidentally shared her family background on Instagram stories when they were preparing dinner, including 33-year-old David.
The mother of three children captioned the Instagram story: "Date night at home with @easondavid88" and added the hashtag "#kidfree".
Although the boomerang showed David preparing chicken wings and carrots, Reddit users honed in other areas; namely, the dirty display in the background.
One user wrote: "This photo made me get up and clean the kitchen thoroughly."
"She has to empty the dishwasher and open the blinds every morning," another commented ironically, seeming to be referring to Jenelle's unemployment. "She doesn't have that kind of time."
Other fans criticized Janelle for using the hashtag "#kidfree".
One person wrote: “They actually don’t have children all the time... the kids are doing fucking things outside... Jenelle loves the negative attention caused by posting something like this, it’s so sad.”
The fourth user dragged Jenelle's so-called "date night" concept.
"I may be wrong, but when none of you have a job or really take care of your kids, isn't this always a date night?"

In early December of last year, critics accused Jenelle and David of not cleaning their backyard, which was full of “beer cans and garbage”.
In a video on TikTok, the former MTV star can be seen trying to prank their children by jumping one by one in their wooded yard.
When Jenelle led followers to the hunting tent they built, the rows of empty beer cans and trash cans were difficult to disguise.
Reddit interjected again, posting a video with the title: "Just some typical Eason elegance. Leave a bunch of beer cans and garbage."
A user commented, "You can pick up a beer can instead", which prompted Jenelle to answer: "This is an ornament."
Another wrote: “So Jenelle spent an afternoon hiding her kids, drinking beer in the tent, and trying to make this look like a fun family time...it’s not surprising.”
As early as April, Jenelle convened fans who commented on her drinking habits in YouTube videos.
After reading the headline of an article claiming that she had an alcohol problem, she said: "You all know, if you know. I drank so much alcohol when I was young. You can call me a drunk when I was young."
After noticing that she drank a lot of alcohol while dating former Nathan Griffith, Jenelle said that she started to have health problems and added, “If I drink too much, I will start to have an esophagus at the end of the night. Spasms, I will throw upwards."
The star added: "That said, I don't drink at all."
Jenelle then shared that she and David only drink beer now, and said that she "drinks two to three glasses a week."
In April 2019, after David shot and killed their dog, she was fired by "Teen Mom 2", which he claimed was to protect their daughter Ensley.
