MATTAPOISETT-The art department and art students of the Old Rochester area high school invite the three-town communities to gather together on Thursday, November 18th from 6pm to 7:30pm to enjoy a delicious soup and have the opportunity to bring home handcrafted artisans bowls . A donation of $20 can buy you soup from Blount Fine Foods and a handmade ceramic bowl of your choice made by ORR art students. All benefits will benefit neighbors in the three towns in need. Empty Bowls uses art to help our own community fight hunger. Empty Bowls is a global charity where people make ceramic bowls for simple dinners.

The guests paid a small donation for the dinner, and they kept the ceramic bowl to thank you for helping you fight hunger.

Please join us at ORRHS Cafe from 6pm to 7:30pm on November 18th and get together for this worthy cause. If you have any questions, please contact: Kate Butler katebutler@oldrochester.org or Joanne Mogilnicki joannemogilnicki@oldrochester.org

The event was partly supported by the Mataboset and Marion Cultural Committees, and these local institutions were supported by the National Committee for Popular Culture.

Thanks to Blount Fine Foods for generously donating soup for our event.
