Accompany USA has recalled cork-bottomed ceramic coffee mugs because they may crack or break when filled with a hot liquid, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Cork-bottomed ceramic mugs that were sold and given out as free promotional items have been recalled.

Accompany USA, in an announcement with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, said the mugs may break or crack when hot liquid is poured into them, which poses a burn hazard to the user.

About 25,000 mugs were sold from February through August 2022 at Accompany USA’s website and at www.accompanyusa.com, https://logomark.com, www.vision1usa.com, https://nccustom.com/brand/lanco, https://infinityiwc.square.site and https://admartproducts.com for about $2 each.

The mugs are about 4-inches tall and 4-inches wide. They were given away free as promotional products for other companies with other logos.

Anyone who purchased a mug should contact Accompany USA to receive a refund.

For more information, call Accompany USA at 909-595-0178, between noon and 8 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday; send an email to rain@accompanyusa.com or go to the website and click on recall at the very bottom of the page on the left side.
