The Danish label Ganni continues its global expansion and is coming to Germany with its first flagship store.

“Berlin, a city known for its diversity and welcoming atmosphere, has a vibrant cultural heart that makes it the perfect city for Ganni,” the brand said at the launch. The colourful interior concept of the Berlin store reflects the colourful collections of the brand. Coinciding with the opening, Ganni is launching a series of exciting partnerships with local talent. Exclusively for the Berlin store, Ganni commissioned the artist Isis-Maria Niedecken, who also lives in the capital, to create a work of art that will be on permanent display in the store.

The ceramist Sisi Tonia, in collaboration with Ganni also created a limited edition range of ceramic espresso cups, which the first customers who spend more than 300 euros will receive. To mark the opening of the store, the brand also designed 40 unique, limited-edition T-shirts with the iconic Berlin smiley. At the end of June, rumours about the sale of the brand appeared in the press. As reported by the Reuters news agency, the L Catterton fund, in which LVMH has a stake, is said to be looking for a buyer for the Danish women’s fashion brand founded in 2000 and has commissioned Bank Lazard to carry out the transaction. So far, no new information on the matter has emerged.
