LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Over 13,000 ‘Spalding Momentous EZ Portable Basketball Goals’ are being recalled by Russel Brands. The company says the welds in the arm attaching the backboard to the pole can fail and cause the backboard to fail, and this poses an impact injury hazard to consumers.

If you have the portable basketball goals, contact Spalding to arrange for a technician to remove the original arm and install a new arm on the goal system. Spalding is contacting all known purchasers.

Accompany USA is recalling 25,000 of its ceramic mugs with cork bottoms. The company says the coffee cup can crack or break when hot liquid is poured into it, and this poses a burn hazard.

If you have the recalled product, stop using it and contact Accompany USA to receive a full refund.

Canyon Furniture Company is recalling over 2,000 of its ladders sold with bunk bed and hutch sets. They are sold exclusively at Rooms To Go. The company says the space between the fourth ladder step and the cross member of the hutch of the bunk bed is wider than 3.5 inches. This poses an entrapment and strangulation hazard.

If you have the recalled ladders and the top bunk of the bunk beds, remove the ladders to prevent access to the top bunk and contact Rooms To Go for a free replacement ladder. Rooms To Go is also contacting all known purchasers.
